Ideas Lite wins Nokia Global Code Camp Competition 2008
Nokia announced today at the S60 Summit in Barcelona, Spain, the winners for the Forum Nokia Global Code Camp Competition 2008. Ideas Lite was declared the Grand Prize winner of the competition in the Flash Lite category. The company showcased an application called ’City Lite’, which is a guide to the night life in the world’s main capitals, built on Flash Lite technology, with outstanding graphics and connectivity capabilities.
Ideas Lite participated in representation of the America’s community of developers in this Forum Nokia global competition , where participants from all over the world submitted their applications to a Forum Nokia international jury for the opportunity to showcase their applications at the s60 Summit in Barcelona this summer, and also to win recognition and cash prizes.
‘We are thrilled to be selected as the front runners of Flash Lite development worldwide’’, said Policarpo Guerrero, the CEO and Founder of Ideas Lite, ‘we see a huge potential for this technology in the years to come, particularly in the Americas, where it is still little known, but where we are expecting to see a phenomenal growth as more devices are shipped with the embedded Flash Lite player’, he added.
